The Next 5 Days No-Fuss Meal Plan (With Recipes)

My husband and I have both been pretty busy and really not in the mood to cook. But we have to eat! And we don’t want to eat packaged and processed meals either.

Our Meal Plan:

  1. Easy Crockpot Stew served with toasted sprouted bread
  2. Stove Top Pork Chops served with lemon pepper green beans and red potatoes
  3. Crockpot Shredded Green Sauce Chicken served with avocado, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and sprouted corn tortillas
  4. Pan-grilled Sirloin steaks served with 60 second brussel sprouts
  5. Leftover chicken enchiladas

And now the recipes:

Crockpot stew:

  • 1 package stew meat
  • 1 bottle beer
  • 1 can tomato paste or tomato sauce
  • 1/2 onion diced or sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, diced
  • Potato or rice flour
  • pepper
  • Italian seasoning
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder


  • Stir in your crockpot the beer, tomato paste or sauce, onion, and garlic
  • Mix 1/4 cup potato or rice flour with seasonings (I like to use lots of seasonings)
  • Coat meat with flour mixture and brown in a pan with olive oil or bacon grease
  • Dump meat in crockpot (cook on low all day or on high for half the day)
  • Half-way through cooking, add baby or diced carrots and potatoes

Stove-top Pork Chops:

Season pork chops (with or without the bone) with:

  • Sea Salt
  • Paprika
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Chili powder


  • Sear pork chops on both sides in a pan with olive oil
  • Turn down heat and cook through

Bake red (or sweet)  potatoes with slices of garlic, chives, and a pinch of salt. Cook until tender

Toss green beans in oil, lemon juice, and lemon pepper with a pinch of chili powder. Cook in a frying pan until crisp-tender

Crockpot Green Sauce Chicken:

  • In a crockpot, add boneless and skinless chicken breasts with a jar of salsa verde
  • Cook on low for at least 4 hours, shredding chicken as the day goes on

60 Second Brussel Sprouts:

  • Core brussel sprouts and cut into small strips
  • Heat olive oil on high heat
  • When pan starts to smoke, toss brussel sprouts in pan with 1 tbsp butter, 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Cook for 60 seconds and remove from heat

Pan grilled sirloin steaks:

  • Season sirloin steaks with:
  • Pepper, paprika, garlic, and any other of your favorite seasonings
  • Cook in a frying pan with oil and butter – sear on both sides then cook on lower heat until desired doneness
