The Stores and their Deals

All of our groceries came from Raley’s this week. Last week I received a free egg coupon at Raley’s, and some of their produce was on sale as well.

I have chicken breasts leftover from last week and some steak, and I found a hidden thing of pork chops in my freezer too (not sure where it was hiding). Doesn’t look like we will need a lot this week because of so much things leftover. Last week was just a weird week with us eating out, not eating meat for 2 days, and now my mom no longer lives with us, so it’s back to just the two of us.

This week we are eating a lot more at home though, and I plan on making crab cakes for Friday. I wish I liked fish, but being pregnant has increased my dislike of sea food (except of crab cakes and fried prawns).

  • Chicken breasts 2 (have 1)
  • Stew meat
  • Pork chops (have)
  • Steaks (have)
  • Lump crab
  • Sweet potatoes
  • lemons
  • green onions
  • avocado
  • Spinach/mixed greens
  • Broccoli
  • Asparagus
  • Eggs
  • Pesto (or make your own)
  • Roasted red peppers (2 jars)
  • Garlic alfredo sauce (or make your own)
  • Panko, rice flour, cracker, etc for crab cakes

Other items:

  • Coconut flour
  • Trail mix
  • shredded asiago cheese

Total: $58.14
